Family Support Services

Family support for caregivers

Family Support Partners bring their own lived experience to help caregivers build skills, feel less alone, and strengthen the whole family through recovery.

What family support is

Family Support Partners help caregivers of a child with mental illness or addiction develop the skills to manage and strengthen both their child and their family. The service is for families and caregivers of youth experiencing serious emotional disturbance (SED).

Partners work with the whole family to support recovery while improving quality of life and opportunities at home, at school and in the community. Because Partners bring their own lived experience and training, they understand the challenges caregivers face.

The goal is to reduce isolation, increase empowerment throughout recovery, and help families engage with their community.
