Privacy Policy

How we handle information you send us through this website.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Hope Tree Family Services ("we," "us," or "our") handles information collected through this website at hopetreeofidaho.com (the "Site"). We collect only what we need in order to respond to you, and we do not sell your information.

This policy covers the website only. It is not our Notice of Privacy Practices. Protected health information created or held as part of your care is governed separately by HIPAA and by our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide to clients directly. Please ask the office for a copy.

This website is not a secure channel for health information

The callback request form on this Site is a general enquiry form. It is not encrypted end to end, it is not a patient portal, and it is not monitored around the clock. Please do not use it to send symptoms, diagnoses, treatment details, medication lists, or any other health information. Ask us for a secure method and we will arrange one. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, call our after-hours line at (208) 339-4673, or call 911 if there is immediate danger.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to give us through the callback request form: your name, phone number, an optional email address, your preferred contact method, the best time to reach you, the service you are interested in, and any scheduling notes you add. We do not collect payment information through this Site, and you do not need to create an account to use it.

How we use your information

We use what you submit only to respond to your enquiry, to arrange a call or an appointment, and to communicate with you about your request. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

How your messages reach us

Form submissions are delivered to us by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form-delivery service, and then by our email provider. Those providers process your message in order to deliver it to us and handle it under their own privacy terms. We share your information only as needed to provide the service you asked for, or where we are required to by law.

Cookies and analytics

This Site does not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The services that host, secure, and deliver this Site may set strictly necessary cookies and record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in order to keep the Site running and protect it from abuse. This Site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files. We may add privacy-respecting analytics in the future to understand how the Site is used; if we do, we will update this page first. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

Data retention

We keep the information you send through the Site for as long as we need it to respond to your request and to maintain ordinary business records. Where a request becomes part of a client record, our clinical records retention practices apply instead.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information submitted through the Site. No method of transmitting or storing information over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This is why we ask you not to send health information through the form.

Third-party links

The Site links to third-party services, including a map provider and the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those services.

Children's privacy

We provide services to children and adolescents, but this Site is written for a general audience and the enquiry form is intended to be completed by an adult. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under applicable law, such as the right to access, correct, or delete it. Clients also have rights over their health information under HIPAA, described in our Notice of Privacy Practices. To make a request, contact us using the details below and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
